Entwistle Fly Fishers on Entwistle Reservoir - excellent fishing in a superb setting

Location

Entwistle Reservoir is located to the north of Bolton, Lancashire, close to the A666, the main Bolton to Blackburn road. Access is off Greens Arms Road (B6391) and Batridge Road, Grid Reference SD724168.

Two car parks are available and members currently enjoy free parking by permit.

The reservoir is leased by Entwistle Fly Fishers from United Utilities and covers 93 acres or 39 hectares. It is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout and there are native Brown Trout. It is a private water fished by members but day tickets are available. Please see our Day Ticket page for details.

Membership

Members are allowed to fish all year, from dawn until midnight. Members may take three fish per day, a maximum of six fish per week. Fishing is with barbless or de-barbed hooks and with one rod only.
